whoa.. really, really nice stuff for the SNES!
has all the beloved oldskool stuff in it (vector balls, shadebobs, filled vectors, voxel-landscapes.. ..)!

my jaw nearly hit the floor when i first saw this demo. it really did hit the floor when i saw that it wasn't on pouet. so of course i added it. note: it seems to work better in snes9x than in zsnes...

doesn't seem to progress past the voxel landscape in snes9x

Must be the first interesting demo I have seen in SNES (All the other I have in my HD are just plain hardware fx scrollers). Unfortunatelly, none of the two emulators does it perfect (Zsnes or Snes9x). I think Zsnes run more parts, but other parts run better on Snes9x and I never get the vectorballs on my screen ;P

Well, yeah, this might be the best SNES-demo I have seen. And yeah, this is from 1993 (or so) and it is on a rare demo-platform. It's really OK, but it does not give me enough positive feelings to thumb it up, sorry.

(BTW, runs fine on the real hardware, of course ;))

My old friend Pothead coded this for the former Amiga group Abandon. However, it was released a long time after and shows his skills. Nearly everything was coded with the famous Super Nintendo Cross Assembler by Florian Sauer (today: Factor 5 - former Infernal Bytes)... And somewhere in RAM there should be the source code...

Probably the best demo of the classic SNES era. Music is by Hiroyuki Iwatsuki and I got hooked on his SNES soundtrack work after watching this for the first time.

For the hidden part: press every button except the D-pad on controller 1 during the end part (you'll know if it worked) and then reset the SNES.

That tilt at the beginning looks truly awesome for age and platform. Could it be that this was an inspiration for the tilt in Roots/Sanity?

Structured in a bit too megademo like fashion for my taste, but the actual content is top notch, especially the design, graphics and music!
