Yes, I know what you mean and I understand your point of view.
Unfortunately, I'm not a great pixel artist, but I love the amazing possibilities and features of the VBXE extension on the 8-bit ATARI, so I tried to do something cool with “my capabilities” anyway.

No, I didn't create it. Many years ago, it was primarily developed and released by Candle (along with a few others). Since then, it has become a kind of standard for VBXE (slideshows).
