Absolutely gorgeous demo. Loved it!

Obscenely large... Looks good though, and I enjoyed the references to the original You Am I You Am The Robot soundtrack.

But.

With most other Orange prods, I have this feeling of getting a glimpse of a weird universe. With this one I feel like I'm watching a VFX showreel. Something is missing on a primal level.

This one of my top favorites in the demo compo and would have expected to see it in podium.

That Finnish PSA video intro was genius. Some very Der Piipo quality visuals, cool different soundtrack too (especially the tango part!) In the end quite disjointed and some parts looked unfinished, but worth a thumb up.

But a good one.

Boring, bunch of random vfx thrown together without any consideration. At 1.16GB in size ir's just a middle finger to the demoscene ethos. The biggest disappointment in demo compo for me. Piggy out of respect of how you kicked asses 30 years ago.

Well made stuff, but what preacher said... Also can't shake my expectations, having seen Dying Stars. It's good though.

I thought it was fantastically designed and delivered. It IS this year's best demo at Assembly, although the competition was quite strong. It echoes Dying Stars, I loved the chaos and colorful visuals.

Not sure if this wants to be the spiritual successor of one of my fav intros "you am i you am the robot" which I love because of its avantgardish brutal minimalism which succeeds in bringing up darkest parts of your soul.

This here is a nice VFX show of course. But for me it doesn't belong to the same series, neither visually nor spiritually. Piggie.

A winner-demo for me. Great!

This was a very cool demo, extremely polished! One of my favorites. Looked so neat when the statue was uncovered. The heart/blood had a plastic look but I suppose that was by design.

The beginning of the demo is what I wanted to see from your new Orange demo, it was even more actually - and I was thinking that OK we are gonna have a clear winner of Assembly this year. The visuals are perfectly there, music is banging and fitting like a glue there etc.

All is good, but then comes the beating heart, and the cube waltz scene. And those scenes were like from different demos. Not on the same super quality level as in the beginning. Missing those being polished (especially on matterials, but also on dynamics and surprrise breaking and explosions on the cubes etc..) and glitching whatever something not there.

With keeping the quality consistent throughout the demo you would have and should have won, at least my beating demo scene heart to think that this was the best demo of ASM25. Now its just in line with what there is in top4, but could have been 2nd actually ;)

at this point i wanna start a petition to limit all demo compos to, like, 256MiB max (unpacked), because this is getting out of hand. also, mutes the entire "can we use game engines for demos" conversation.
