The rendering is really nice, even if there's apparent precomputing!
Nice writeup, btw. Also, if you do anything similar in the future, try to underexpose the photos so that you can overexpose them on the screen, that way you can colorize more easily without having the whites getting clamped.
There's nothing more sad than a shiny flare becoming a flat blob of color, no matter how pastel it is :)

Interesting concept.
Unfortunately the video looks like you just play a small set of photos with bad interpolation and in no way resembles the thought and work you put into it.
