classic indeed, but the low-freq 8-bit samples just click and clack while trying to sound like a reverberating amiga.
this, along with the paranoids bbstro, was one of the first prods i watched on a steady basis. :)
This is sad.. it's 4:35am.. and I'm watching Mental Surgery on my P4 2.4 GHz.. in XP... and playing Future.stm (Future Brain), the soundtrack, in winamp at about the same time I hit 'n' to 'use soundblaster?'. Almost oldskool. Bochs don't play it. Ironic native XP does.

Great intro.
Someone accidentally gave me a copy of this when I was 12. And it changed my life. It was the first demo I had seen, and its style and music and 70fps scrolling (which I had thought was impossible for PCs) were all mind-blowing. But, more importantly, it included the source code, which led me to get into ASM and demo coding. I can't overstate how important this demo was to me.

Boring scrollers.
Nice large scroller.. I've sometimes come back to this one to see smooth scrolling. Someone made a hack to get this working in Dosbox, as apparently STMIK did some weird SB detection which wasn't very standard.

When I start the demo, the noise sound at the beginning creeps me out xD.... Nice demo overall.
Except the scrollers Font i dislike this completely.
The music sounds like made for some major trackmo, but even then (with according effects etc.) i would have most likely disliked it.
But exactly the Music is what keeps my thumbdown away; It´s way too good/pro, just not my taste.
