So fresh and tight. Best in compo for me. <3
Not the best of compo, but great as firetruck.
Wow. Tech is quite impressive, specially those reflections were lovely to watch. The sphere-of-spheres scene illumination blew my mind not only because the tech but because of the elegance and good taste shown directing the scene. On the other side, at some point it felt a little bit long to me (the pattern-on-a-plane scene lasted too long IMHO). But it's a minor on top of a top notch entry.
The most uplifting and inspiring entry in the compo, but also carries that authoritative "you'll sit down and watch me" aura. Extremely well designed and put together <3
yes please
sweet, enjoyed it a lot on the bigscreen
Amazing.. simply amazing :)
Somehow manages to be oldskool and newskool at the same time.
Oh yes gimme me that shiny black goo...
It looks and sounds great, but needs to dial way back on the "inspired by Logicoma" feel imo. Especially on the tunnel scenes. I'd like to enjoy your own voice, but it's hard to do that when the content is so obviously similar.
Like the music and direction. Well executed technically!
Fresh and not 100% raymarching.
The sync left me speechless!
(I forgot to actually tick the box the first time)
I think this demo got a good reaction, and also a good diffusion.
stunning use of cellular automata. really really interesting to see organic shapes evolve like that in a demo
chill tune
Love it. Great visuals, awesome sync work and probably one of the best tunes we've ever had from subi. Rewatching intensifies.
lovely, great show! thx.
really sweet effects, especially the sync on the cellular automata
dope stuff, loved the syncs
Damn good prod!
I remember i liked this in the compo! Nice syncs. Music feels very inspired by 'The Gitch Mob'
What Fizzer said :D
Cool idea. Nicely executed. What else to ask from an intro?
As for 3d 'brain' effect - I would have guessed it is ray-marched from volumetric texture (which anyway has to be evaluated for reaction-diffusion effect).

innovative use of reaction diffusion. Soundtrack is kinda meh tho

Great work you two, sound sync and shaders all on point and you finally came up with a group name too :)

No worries! It was an obvious "must have" for our intro as well. This was a known issue, but it took someone hitting it _consistently_ to actually do something about it. Unfortunately that had to be you and I apologize for the timing (pun intended), but I'm happy to have been able to fix it in time and the sync in this intro is massive! :)I think the intro's reliance on sync shows just how important that fix was for me.
Also to address the "similar to logicoma" comments, I'd like to point out that I was actually surprised when someone pointed that out to me at the party. To me this feels quite distinct, especially with the faster-paced cameras and stuff (which I'm generally afraid to do tbh, so hats off for that). And I suppose that will only improve with further intros, which I assume are certainly coming!
very cool!! nice work yx!
Very nice!!
A true sync festival which is highly entertaining!
very enjoyable!
Yes!
Good
I like how this feels very demoscenish and at the same time modern and fresh. Oh and sync rocks! Great prod.

- Apparently the party version of the exe doesn't terminate the process properly, I guess I messed that up when we were hacking the DLL stuff at the last minute. If you've run it locally, maybe check your task manager ;) I'll fix it in the final version.
Imagine my surprise 3 days after watching the intro on my work PC :)
sync on point. love it!
Amazing job ! I am not a huge fan of the almost b/w style (moar saturation ! moar contrast ! moar color !!), some scene lack a little bit of life :p . But the demo was really well put together and the cellular effect is really, really well done. Excited to see what you will do next !
wooah, that sync! sexy demo =) and, stamping logical shapes into a turing pattern? i might steal this idea for a tiny intro ;)
wow.
COOL!
Nice really like the tunnels and the music
Good enough !
Never boring and visually pleasing.
great 'traditional' intro with some very pleasing effects
