Have to say it: who ripped the "guy lying on the floor" from our demo kaptah? Ok, I know you didn't, but it's amazingly similar :).

Other than that, this is another demo with the tlotb look'n'feel. Love it or hate it. I like it, but not enough to thumb it up.

Not everybody has a look'n'feel... ;)
nice engine, but i found the demo quite boring, rework your concept, there is a lot of potentials in this!!!

Not my favourite demo of TLOTB (and the glow effect was totally out of place...) Let's wait for the next one :P

I agree this one keeps the tlotb look'n'feel I liked for years, but this time the result is not as polished as in other prods.

Guys, we're waiting for another breaking intro soon

It shows a black screen, and then some sort of "My Desktop" effect.

(WinXP, Radeon, Catalyst 3.8, DiamonDie-esque PC)

well, I like it a bunch. I'd have only added lightmaps to the outdoors scene to match the rest of the scenes, but that's ok... Astharoth was coding until the deadline, and he didn't even ask for a delay, so thumbs upupupup!

utopian: I can send you the models if you wanna check it :) blah, if you are doing any demo about "mental disease" sure.. u needs to show some "Guy perturbed lying in some weird site" xD

Sagacity: can you send me any email to debug this¿? thanks :)

This demo is the first production in TLOTB from our news members, my work on it it's only bug corrections and a bit more.. It's the first work (on team) of our new graphician too (and he work as best) he is new to the scene (and is taken from the tenebrous reverse :).

Respects to the TLOTB new generation and wellcome aboard TLOTB.

Btw, BcnParty R00lz... :) See you soon.

TLOTB is improving on everyprods, and they've also brought a new graphician, this demo shows more design, and better colour scheme taste, nice effects(projection "lightmap"?¿) cool ideas, elevator ones...BUT from the AGORAFOBIA upto the end of the demo, the things seems to go out of mother(:PPPPPP). Anywa Good team work at party place!

i couldn't resist!! even if I participated in the demo! this rulez! And I suffered a lot to create such a tenebrous music. So like it or die!! We'll break your mind!! :D
tolemaC, I don't get your point. I know who tlotb are, and I deeply respect them. So what?

thanks for the point foolman i was already on it to fix! :)
added on the 2003-11-04 23:50:27 by Astharoth Astharoth
next time install that goddamn debug runtime :)

The demo is nice, the first part's music is ok, but the change is bad, and the models need more work :) I like the concept, next time, add some more feeling :)

I don't like this really. Looks much to empty and the music sounds more like noise, randomly thrown together. Sorry...

Well, the fix to the "directx debug runtime" can be downloaded here

Thank you all for the bug report. :)

Cheers, Astharoth.

Visuals and music manage to create a very claustrophobic atmosphere. The outdoor 3dscene looks indeed a bit out of place compared to the others (it somehow reminds me of dukenukem), but the rest looks quite ok to me. The synching is not as good as in previous productions but this definetly has the TLOTB trademark :)
Btw, did you get a new graphician? :D
