Was it supposed to be so fucking slow?
I admit that it's so f****ng slow. But it's made with java, and uses no 3d-Acceleration. Needs about 1.1gHz Athlon to work decently. Next time better optimizations in the limits of java. Realtime raytracing with about 50 objects and shadows is slow...
uh, why did you do it anyway? it's was quite painful to watch 1fps intro in the compo

And the speed is quite alright even on my XP1800+.
It ran fine on the 3 GHz compo machine, as far as I could see on the Real stream.

dear dairy, our intro wasn't the 1fps intro in the 64k compo (think it was the one shown next or something). Only problem with our intro was that it wasn't shown in fullscreen mode and we only got about 40% of the screen.
Why sometimes, they give the html file and still displays a grey screen? I am bored to download patches, java upgraded, or what the hell needed for watching Java demos. I have missed and forgotten a lot of them, because I was bored to find out how to make them run ;P
That's true. But this one only needs the latest jre to run, nothing else. It takes some time to start btw..
