Its pretty phat, it sucked though that you had to figure out yourself when to swap disks. Nice tune if i reckall right :)

This was weird. In it's time it was was utterly awesome and had a great tune.

The disk swapping was totally annoying, but I think there was a HD patch released at one point.

mmmh, yeah. was brilliant despite the absolutely annoying disk-changing. would have deserved to be remembered as an absolute classic.

A good start to move away from the "old" A500 stuff.

video here
you guys have me bewildered....

DISK 4???! After disk 3 was finished, I got "the game is over!" and then the credits.
So what do I need Disk 4 for then? ;)

Trivia: There is an article series in the german "Amiga Magazin" (6-11/1994 IIRC) by Sim about A500 demo coding (voxel space, texture mapping, ...) which is based on code used in "speed"...

I hate to vote piggys, but this demo is just average. Tune is just OK, visuals seems mostly precalculated. Almost zero pixel art.

I`m simply not impressed that much watching this.

one-file version or hdloader released, waiting for a whdload patch
What legend and others said, except I can't find it even worth a piggy. Animation player with ugly random content and horrible disk swapping? No thanks.

Both are buggy because the demo requires EXACT floppy timing as otherwise there will be bugs in the sync resulting in black screens. This is exactly the reason why I didn't release a WHDLoad patch yet as creating a 100% working patch without any bugs is quite time consuming (and annoying too because I don't like this demo at all) to do.

this is the prod to test your disk switch ability ^^

The disk swapping system bored me at the time and content is random and not that interesting.

Probably better than any amiga demo that came before it. Chock full of stuff and it's all great and c y b e r.

Absolute shit, obviously. Well, that was rude. I mean: if you want to watch effects. Do we want to watch effects?

As in, would a release like this be a valid contribution for a democompo today?

Totally underrated and somewhat forgotten classic Amiga demo. This thing blew my mind when it was released. Quite sad it is under appreciated.

Sorry, but I prefer Voyage. The music is not my piece of cake, but some nice effects have been shown for sure.
