Really pleased to see the finished product turn out so well. It's hard to pick an overall favourite from the artwork that features on the demo, but special mentions go to Ataricrypt's picture and Forgotten Grove's "Optimus Prime" :)

Ok, this was terrible, most pictures would've been better left unreleased. But since this is your first prod I will no thumb it down, in hopes that you'll step up your game for your next release.

When we're swamped with near-photo-standard amazing pixel-perfect pixel art like we are in the demoscene it's easy to get complacent. We are wooed and wowed by yet another amazing display and we move on and robotically gobble up the next internet deep sea offering. Don't get me wrong; those pieces are beautiful and awe-inspiring and take a lot of time - but the vision for this collaborative release was to encourage everyone to have a go and to inject new blood and life into the scene. Inspire discussion..... Make people think..... Make people look deeper than the millions of releases that are all the same in that they are all so awesome but follow the same formula...

Think about what Art means... What it tries to do in any medium. Art is Art; if it inspires thought and discussion isn't that another, less obvious, measure of how 'good' it is?

This was never set out to be just another pixel perfect release. This was for everyone to have a go. Create. Express.

In the words of a famous Junkion.....

Dare to be Different.

PS I agree on the thumbs up. I tried to retract mine after I posted my initial comment but couldn't. I was aiming the thumbs up at my team rather than the prod, but I realise now how that looked. Sorry!

@Britlite As It was an Art slideshow, it delivered exactly as promised! I can't draw for Toffee but I do enjoy seeing others passion and creativity flourish. And regardless whether or not I contributed to the demo, I enjoyed the production. :)

Just an idea, if others are concerned of upvotes coming from the crew members themselves (I can't blame them tbh, as many of us are "First Timers"). Then Pouet can devise an algorithm so that if a scener is attached to a particular production, they can comment without having to submit a rating beforehand. As it stands, there's no way you cannot comment without giving a rating first.

That might be, still doesn't make it good ;)

Next time at least skip the images that are clearly just color reduced versions of other peoples work with some text added.

Cornervizion: See, I can comment on this prod without giving a rating first, it's real easy actually!

@Havoc the question is how... I tried typing space beforehand and it wouldn't allow me to. If you can advise us, that'll be great.
@Havoc It would also be nice to help some of the new folks around here without being nasty to them too :)
you don't vote simply by not clicking on thumbs up - or thumbs down (or clicking anything at all). it is kinda self explaining ... to most people :D
Again I tried that... But the tabs were highlighted regardless. I can provide a screenshot if you wish. Also, as I am being polite, I expect the same courtesy back. It's called "Good Manners" :)

Apologies Sensenstahl, I thought you were Havoc do my reply was aimed at him rather than yourself. :)
what sensenstahl said is totally correct, i have nothing to add to that. if it really doesn't work for you it's likely some problem on your end which you probably don't want to discuss too deeply in the comment section of your first prod on this site (use the bbs if you really must..)

Tune is nice. But that's about the only positive thing I can say about this release. Everything else was pointed out by Britelite already.

I'm using a mobile phone to comment here @Havoc. As I don't have home internet access due to cost, I tried the mobile version which more or less the same layout albeit shrunk to fit. All I'm asking is some help which will greatly benefit us in order to use the site better.

Looking at your profile, I see that your very active and I was hoping to find friendly folks around here. Sadly it was not the case and whilst I'll listen to constructive criticism, I will not tolerate abuse directed at myself or other members.

If there's a way you can DM me, I will happily provide you with the screenshots with regards to the comment bar. In fact people on the Facebook group have mentioned this issue, so it cannot be an isolated incident surely? :)
OK so I've joined your Facebook group, let's leave this prodpage for the Pouet users' comments now and move the talks to Zuckerberg's pub (if I get approved...)

Thanks Havoc... Best of luck on the approval :)
Is it a serious stuff ? Or an urine face splash to demoscene elitist ? Art or Fart ?

I appreciate this initiative and its intentions. Considering the number of credits added, it seems like a lot of people were willing to contribute to this idea, which is great; working together with other atari enthusiasts to contribute to the scene is nice. However, the end result is less appreciated. Mainly the direct (ripped?) color conversions of other graphics is something I feel is misplaced. I hope you guys can improve on the presentation, since the concept is something I can appreciate. Motivational piggy it is.
