Deserved to win. Nice write up in the nfo, I love to read "making of" type stories. Spaceship colours could be better but overall a nice looking prod and it has some direction, all in 1k.
The stars themselves would have been enough for me. When watching this in the competition, I had the feeling of "why bother trying to code anything ever again" :)

I guess the geometry is impressive, but the colors, material and the sound... ugh.
Loved that even the engine roar was there, even if there's no sound in space.
