Appreciate the one-man work, but didn't appeal to me as a demo.
Nice song, if a bit badly recorded. I've been so much into feedback shaders lately so this perfectly hit the same kind of area in style I've been in lately, so I loved it. It felt good. The bittersweet feelings of the track work well with the subdued visuals.
The visual work is beautiful and one of a kind. I love the intention behind the soundtrack, though sadly the execution lags behind a bit. Among my favorites.
Definitely needed some more work and was definitely a bit strange. Granted, strange sometimes works and doing what everyone else is doing is a sure way not to stand out... but in the end I feel the same as Photon.
Sorry, but the music alone was unbearable.

I like the style of this demo lot. The melancholy works for me definitely and the visuals are soothing.
What rimina said. Will watch it again at home, outside of a party compo atmosphere. Should have placed higher.
Oh, one thing I didn't like very much: Doing "subtitles" for each and every word. IMHO it distracts a bit from the mood, and since there are the vocals in the music already, this felt unnecessary to me.
it is very brave to make a demo like this with your own singing and everything. I liked the song although the audio production needs work, but this was just too moody as a release on a big demo party. ;)

Very nice demo which should have been placed much higher! I guess it's not really party material though. I totally enjoyed it, the only minor complaint I have are the vocals, while not bad per se I think a "pro" singer would've been better here.

... or a third or fourth take, or actually a few days of practice. Piggy because it didn't do anything for me but it's a promising direction if you're willing to put more effort into it.
Honestly, I miss the old (like 2005) traction intros. This is getting weird/depressive. Vocals are ok, I would even give weak thumb up for courage to expose your feelings, but well, the gfx part was rather boring/uninteresting.

Everything in the PC demo compo was just 3D? Just like a mix of games and nineties party zone music video animations, except this one, the only Windows demo with graphics but without even a hint of real time digital music.

This is not a demo.
Not every demo needs to feel like a demo and this is an excellent example of it. But I felt there wasn't much content in this demo visual wise.
Preacher goes solo with.... like everything and the result is.....
for releasing something different and something relaxing
