This was the first ones demos I've ever saw. In this prod. Fine 3D engine for that days! (the 1º part),quality dezign for all the cuts & sync. over all the demo
Pay close attention to the first part. Can you say "3 years ahead of Quake"?
Though some nice effects follow that, the design seems to fall apart. Still deserved to win, of course.
BTW, this demo will still run _perfectly_ on a Pentium II with Win98! (you may have to boot to DOS though)

The great with this demo was the first part with the Doom-Quake Engine at 1993!
And until the zooming tunnel thing it seemed to me that I will se a perfect demo!!!
But then I don't like it that much,. there are some parts not that good as I wanted, and then the demo ends, the demo seems short to me..
But still only for the beginning it deserves it! I just would like to imagine if there were more and cooler parts and a much bigger and massiver demo how much more attention would this demo get!

Technically a great demo, too bad the design and music sucks...
Argh. Whether it's because I love Max Payne or whether it's because I've come to my senses, I'll give it a 'rulez'.
It ownz me..
a major ass kicker at its time...
The first part gives me the creeps! Perfect Atmosphere!
this was the only demo which was better than gbu from s!p on tp93 woohoooooo memories :D snowballfighting: dust+s!p+xography vs. futurecrew+sonic
:DDD
:DDD
Is it really 10 years now that Dust won TP3 with this? Hell, where did I loose the time...
Anyway, back then a technically brilliant demo. Today this brings up some nostalgia of great party times for me.

don't forget the keyboard leds... :) man, this was a great demo - what memories..
rockz so hard!
those were the days.. *sigh*

I was so incredibly amazed by the first part at that time.
woah. runs great in dosbox as well
One of my first favorites!
Yes.
first part was amazing, with that great transition to the logo at the end.
:')
One of the first demos I saw, and thus one of my favourites. The keyboard leds rouled so much!
The beginning alone is worth a thousand thumbs up. Not to mention the LEDs
The part with the DUST logo is one of the best transitions ever.
great style, great code.

4Ever beuty!
btw Runs Perfect on DosBox 0.63

excellent old dos demo. rulez!!!
great classic
great!
music sucks and boring to watch
classic
electro/jungle music, lots of graphic effects, 3Ds, photos
oops, the comment before was for another prod
setup, 3D entrance hall with big ball run, nice music, 3D tunnel mapping, greetings logotype stretchings

problems with dosbox 0.70 hmm... works fine enough up to the zooming on the "..."
i need to add a thumb. best texture & gouraud code of 1993. runs fine in dosbox 0.72 (11/27 build) with dynamic cpu although the music is a little buggy.
ok, just the gus playback is bugged.. sb is better.
DOSBox-0.72 here, same problem as Broderick. So, I have to download 0.63 for it to work...
classic
I was actually too lazy to download an old version of DOSBox, so I set up this beauty to run the demo. It took two floppies and some tweaking (It has no HD) but finally the demo started and ran to the end. The sound didn't work though. I only heard the first buffer of sound, then all became silent. (Crappy OPTi sound chip :p )
phoenix: This is a bug I experience alot in DB. Generally SB > GUS in DOSBox.
i havent seen this for over 10 years now... it was the one which told me that pccoding could get much further than i got at this time.. i could not explain how much it impressed me at that time..
One of the first demos i´ve watched
I just watched it for the first time. I was a little bit surprised that in terms of technology it was not that far from second reality. Unfortunately it misses some kind of design. Nevertheless an outstanding demo for its time.
O_o is the Markus Stein listed in the credits actually this guy? (I'm pretty sure it is :))
yeah, that's the guy :)
The 3D is very impressive (including simulated walking dynamics), and the effects on the tunnel are fun (if disturbing :) ).
Great 3D for 1993!
goddamn that's some truly horrible music
stunning 3D graphics for a 1993 demo !
The bee's knees in 1993. The first two parts of the demo were remarkable. (when you watch the 3D part today, keep in mind it was released in the same month the original Doom hit the scene)
And yes, the music is very bland. Most of the last few effects were basically filler, too. :)

For 1993, great!
remember this. impressive 3d world at the time
The 3d dungeon must have been amazing back then. The 2d graphics and transitions were excellent, but the soundtrack is truly terrible.
For the pouet id.
music reminds me of 80's exploitation movies.
techno xmas!
techno xmas!

I was!
that music :)))
music ruins it
the logo transition is just demo porn !
pretty good but the music is cringy especially at the end
That...was... UGLY... The first 3D part saves it a little, but still...
nice little ms-dos music but not the best music
The first two parts are great!
ok
this demo is cult!
many great parts, nice transitions and nice code!

One of my favourite demos from the days of yore: Some very nice and creative scenes, extraordinary code, great effects. A well-deserved victory.
Terrible music, though. Just terrible.
