Really stylish and decent music. Unfortunately it runs about 3fps even at 720p on my computer, which I am a bit surprised since unreal engine is decently optimised. Must be the GI or something.

What drivers did you use ? Tried running it with latest WHQL drivers (355.82) on Win 8.1 + GTX 980 Ti and it's missing light in many parts of the demo.

I'm actually not sure if this is supposed to even run realtime (shown from video at compo at least, was it a realtime cap?). I got less than 1fps at 720p for about a dozen seconds until it crashed probably due to the insane rendering times.
Capture was made using shadowplay on gtx680 afaik, so it's supposed to run in realtime, yes.
For 1080p though, you really want to run it on a big maxwell thing.

I dunno why but it runs like a slideshow on mine too, I have a new nvidia maxwell card and I can't see why an older 680 would run 10 times faster. I was hoping they would release a final version maybe reduce the number of cones or increase the trace step size in the VXGI because it is pretty brutal. The scenes don't seem to have much geometry but maybe a lot of lights contributing to the GI.
I'll just thumb it up anyway from the video capture I guess.

Like Rusakova .. Latest WHQL drivers & GTX 970 oc, runs 40+ fps but lighting is missing, very dark tunnel and cubes scenes

Looks very nice, cool effects and good use of screen space reflections.
But the slideshow and the fact that half of the good looking comes from UE4 brings it down to piggy for me. If you're going to use a commercial engine, at least do a decent job at optimizing.

in fact, the demo doesn't use screen space reflections at all.
it uses vxgi, realtime dynamic global illumination with realtime diffuse and specular reflections.
you can download ue4 version of vxgi and use it as it is.
So, I don't think it's VG job to optimize anything, they only could set it up in a less demanding way, as Drift said.

At first I was like wtf, the lighting is very nice, that's impossibru. Then I saw that it's done with Unreal engine. But still like it, very nice!
