I loved that screen long time ago, especially the "timing" bar starting at line 200 instead of VBL to see exactly how free time you get. I loved that simple but cool idea! (press TAB during the demo)

22 sprites, 3 bitplanes, 32x32. They were mostly 2 bitplanes and 3 bitplanes only within a small area though, hence the fast generated code that was mainly in 2 bitplanes ;)
The sprites came from a Scoopex intro on Amiga by the way.
