after all these years, it actualy has some camp value. :) i hadn't seen any atari demos when it came out, so i didn't pick up on the homage.
btw, i don't think the compo rank was ever known.

It's so rare to watch menu demos on PC (is there another one out there?) and I watched this one today in my 386. I like the 3d cube menu and the wolfenstein menu got me moving around and searching all the secrets (Though, later I watched the movie:on mode to let it show me all effects). What I don't like is how squished (innacurate?) the wolfenstein looks and it's annoying when I try to move. Can't explain it, but it is less fun. Nevertheless it's something rare to choose demoparts by going to doors in 3d wolfenstein on PC (Ok,. on CPC I started once hating menu parts and single screens, but somehow I liked them on the PC because it's rare :)

Tones od screens. One makes me think to Replicants's Barbarian 2 intro.

at naid 1995, a couple of guys came up to me and asked me to stand still in front of their videocamera for a moment. they were setting it up, or so i was told. a couple days later, i saw this demo and my face was in it. :)

don't know why, but I just like it ;) a lot of nice parts, cool music and OF COURSE marvellous "wolf3d-like" maze, although it is long and sometimes even boring.
