This is fucking awesome, don't even know why it captivates me so much - might be the eerie feeling, or just that I find it impressive to have a speechsynth in that size - with visuals - in JS /o\

Went with d46c885687c16c873d8c63af3a70a6b0 :)

pretty sure it doesn't work properly in chromium for me, but what i saw in firefox was pretty neat, liked the colors and a nice idea for tiny glitch music

mog: The speech synth takes ~900b, probably more like 700-800b when striping out the UI cruft and interaction.

I haven't managed to run Leviathan Sun yet on my 1gb EEE :p

Looking at the code on Github, I see room for TONS of optimizations, but that's cool. It only means PS' next prod will be even better ;)

Also the Recycle Bin Laden idea is interesting.

Just watched Leviathan Sun in a fresh browser session. I'm not super fond of that style but it does work here.Well done!

p01: yeah, i didnt really see any point in optimizing for size, had plenty of it left after i got rid of the md5 calc functions and it seemed impossible to bring it all down to 1k without chopping off the speechsynth or the background audio. just focused on tweaking the generative parameters.

i'm amazed it works with 1gb of ram actually. :S

btw, does anyone know any good way to optimize the audio loading process to use less RAM? without reducing the audio bitrate.

the sourcecode is at github in case anyone wants to take a look. ugly as hell but somewhat readable.

Works for me, would work even better with some more visual randomization.

Quite nice, could have used a bit more variation / evolution over time but nice effort.

For JS -- an exercise in < 0.2% code efficiency.
