p01: Thx! Multiple audio elements speed up the loading time (furthermore, the loading time is constant no matter how long is the melody) but I'm pretty sure this technique also saved a few bytes.
Clever! One version of the speech synth kinda worked like that. The base64 chunk of each phoneme was precalc'ed. They were simply concatenated upon pressing ENTER to speak out a whole sentence. I don't remember how that effected the size but the synth was instant.
