Thumbs up for new team on CPC and Devil Markus working on bigger demo.
Now, the speed of the routines are not fast, scroller is very slow. The double blended twister(?) was ok, not very fast but I like how it blends the colors. That digitized(?) sound was interesting. The ideas were nice (loading bar, etc)

The very bestest loader bar ever, but I can't thumb up something that runs this slow.

The musician was part of Amiga Slipstream, if that is enough reason to use the Slipstream name again after more than 2 decades is not for me to decide.
As for the demo: I have no idea how it's possible to make code run THAT slow...
I guess the slowness is explained in the nfo: some parts are mostly written in basic. It's pretty nice though apart from the speed, some nice ideas in there.

We have two original members of Slipstream, myself (TCM) and an Amiga coder (Intuition). We should have probably added more info in the scroll text; the middle section is actually a 3 channel Amiga module played using the AY :)
Will try to improve performance here & there... ;) Indeed, most code is done in goold old CPC BASIC. Could be much better in pure assembly... But I'm not a real CPC coder ;)
Enjoyed the music and the loader bar. It was a bit slow (as others have said), but props to Devilmarkus et al for releasing it. Looking forward to more (faster?) CPC stuff from you guys in future :)

showing one effect and a picture for nearly 5 minutes bored the hell out of me. the music didn't save it.
It is slow for sure, but still the result is OK for a basic, with transferred graphics production. Move on from basic and show us what you can really do. After all, you know how to code; so, go!

Well, I have no idea about the Amstrad HW and tweaks, but this one looks soo 90s (early). Considering the speed, even early 80s.
