Arguably not a JavaScript demo as the largest portion of the magic is in CSS. However, there is no CSS category and there is a small amount of JavaScript to generate the elements used.

Ah yes :) Plenty of people have noted that or offered. Have to figure out exactly what I want to do though first ...

I've also put up an unpacked version of the demo on the group's website for those interested. Much nicer than printing out the packed code in the party version.
good first demo, but i'll reserve my thumb for your next demo ;)

As far as my browser is concerned, it doesn't do anything.

And what is your browser? I thought the NFO was pretty clear this is a Firefox prod. I think it's pretty petty to thumb something down just because you don't have the platform it runs on or it doesn't run on yours.

Internet Explorer still doesn't support the last required piece--despite having everything else I used--to make this fully 3D as of IE 10 and 11. Chrome/WebKit could do it with the proper prefixes, but I couldn't pack those in to 4k. Even so, while WebKit was the first to implement the 3D CSS specification present in Chrome 12 released mid 2011, over two years and at least nineteen major versions later they still don't consider themselves done enough to unprefix it in accordance with the standard.

I haven't found time to add prefixes to the unpacked version, which is available from my demogroup site. It's hardly my fault other browsers can't keep up with the standards very well.

Just think of it like a prod that's ATI or nVidia only through use of vendor specific features. ;)
@up: Whoops. Sorry. :( My bad. :(

This works in Chrome now as it added support for things I used when I wrote it.
