One of my DOS favourites. Quite hard to get it to work on todays wintel PCs. :)

It had sb support in a time most intros were still gus only, it used some strange fake-color-mode (or at least it looked like that) and had good music.

Btw, it ranked 2nd in the compo (3rd was licht 3 by haujobb and 1st was Oxygen by Coral).

I just discovered it today and, yeah it's a nice one... It's like hi-color dithered in 256 colours.
Anyway that looks cool and the effects are good.

I hate mootori video modes, which look great on the big screen but suck elsewhere.

This was one of the first intros I saw. Probably the only prod I remember from Assembly '98. Shortly after that tried to run it on a computer with NT and it actually worked. Yeah, it was nice and the music was good.

Fucked up dithering in this one, with average scenes. Still, it has an atmosphere quite unlike anything else..

This and Mainstream are very unusual intros, I didn't liked them first, but now I like them for not being like others. This fakemode looks strange, and maybe even ugly at first, but that doesn't matter.

I hesitate to thumb it down because the rgb+alpha in 256 colors attempt is quite unusual, and I think the music is among the better in 64K in 1998. I don't know the story behind lores and no acceleration, but in the end the visuals are too unpolished.

Piggie on this. Somewhat "standard" effects for the time, even for a dos-prod.

Nice music, trippy effects. Not the best demo ever, and I'm not sure if it deserves to be in the CDC box, but it's definitely enjoyable.
