But I kinda like the painting that was the result of this process.
Seriously. First place, nothing but praise, and even a CDC? I get the attraction of seeing a caricature/parody of someone you know, especially if there was some kinda lil drama going on. But despite being way too hasty to really capture the "noise atmosphere" it manages to be forever and ever of the same fucking joke over and over again. Sure it had a couple of moments, like the pizza and love song, which I chuckled at. But because of their mocking nature those chuckles they were just followed by a longer feeling of remorse/shame. So fuck you.

on the one hand they clearly don't get the point of noise prods and are clearly mocking the lifestyle
on the other hand it does have nice jokes in it and the production does have some good amount of work behind it to try to get it right

i think it's more sardonic and embracing of the aesthetic, while poking fun at the tropes and perceived stereotypes... i really like the painting as well and nowhere in the film does it say one should not!
no subtlety whatsoever though and at a few places i feel there was some potential for a more profound point that instead was wasted for some cheaper comedic potshots
