blaah... some well done effects but with grayscale desing it's just a casual 4k intro with no imagination

Grayscale or any monocolored 4k's or intro's are quite nice IMHO. And the piece of sampeled music is quite cool only a little short but that is 4k intro's. Oh yeah where the colored pixels part of the 4k? or was it just my machine being so messed up?

you used this 256 bytes intro without any credits?

i actually found two more 256 bytes intros that was used for this without credit:
"galaxy" by spock/wild bits
"weird" by ile/aardbei

total plagiarism.

That sums up Nextempire's legacy pretty well. Make a 4k that most likely consists entirely of stolen 256bs, release it at an Easter party, and no one even notices until 20 years later, because by now, your standards are so low that this doesn't even register as lame enough to get angry about - this is just what you do.

I'm glad they still managed to up the ante and bring us a true classic in Rush Hour later that year.
