svo: Not really, I'm familiar with that document already. The problem is that some of our demos only exist in binary form, and only have one or two bytes free, and I really don't feel like trying to "fix" them to fit in the switch/reset logic. I'm still hoping somebody would know an easy HW solution to force the cart to start in a specific bank on reset.
I was quite numbed by the "this ended already" stop :( but so promising that I'll up it.

I'm guessing you do almost everything using the Player Graphics (P0, P1) to get it to look this good?
I dabbled a bit with 2600 coding and mostly used the Playfield graphics, with ugly low-res result.
Too bad that you have problems with the bank-switching, it would have been cool to have a multicart with demos!

Nice twister and P0/P1 reuse. I've mentioned to visy on IRC how the reset problem can be fixed in hardware, and I've recently figured out a possible software solution that doesn't waste (m)any bytes. Worst case -> custom mapper. We should talk at Revision..
