Cool and slick
fungerar inte. Chages the resolution a couple of times and returns to the desktop.
try to change resolution or run it in windowed mode by editing setup.xml and see if that helps please? If it crashes, it should report with a messagebox.. or check demo.log or in linux the console ...
we don't really know why this demos is so hard to run, but we use some new tecniques like FBO's and shaders (2.0? 3.0?)..

Well, as expected it doesn't run. Screen turns black for half a second and then the whole thing terminates. So normal fuckings to thec there.

ATI's ogl shaders compiler are more strict than nvidia ones, to fix the shader error just replace the "1+" at the line 11 of the matdofao.frag file by "1.0+", it's located in the vintage.dat (just a zip archive).
hmm... somewhat inconsistent, but the scenes are good.

The "1.0+" in the shader fixed the problem. But after the eye it runs at 0.2 fps or something.
So I guess I'll wait for a video or a better computer :-)

I fixed the shader problem. hopefully that sorts it our for some of you...

I liked it! Simple and nice. The flat/wire flybye reminds me of some older minimalistic demo but I can't remember which.
I also like it.
Optimus: The flat/wire-flyby was inspired by solex/contrast, but pretty soon it evolved into something else so we didn't make it into a homage as we first though we should (ie copy it and write solex rules =)). I'm not sure if that's what you are thinking of, but that was what we were thinking of ;)
I hope more people can run the demo now since we fixed the ATI-shader-bug!

I like but the music sounds cheap and crap.
Ok since the admins are a bit slow and I want you to enjoy the demo while it's fresh, here are some video captures. Note that the big one is pretty heavy for your computer so if you can't play HDTV rips, go with the smaller one.

And as breakin said, we were inspired by older demos, especially the space scene with the wireframe in solex, and we tried real hard to try to build up the mood to the point of that scene, by using simpler effects in the beginning moving on to harder ones in the end and by using what we had in hands (a week of development and art) we tried to do the best we could with the design.

Ok, music sucks arse. Beginning scenes were quite nice although the ending 3d scene flyby sucked too.
