well, apparently these guys ('nedopc' which means smth like 'half-baked computer' in russian) coded a videoplayer for zx spectrum, and it was used at the party to play this movie... but the movie itself is not done by them (as far as I understood), which kinda ruins the point of the compo and violates its rules...

They could at least have played a video of some demo. I was wandering about the huge black borders, is the player that bad or was the video file just expanded after the record?

madenmann, I am as puzzled as you are. when this was palyed at the party people started screaming 'bayan!' (smth like 'seen that before'), and after it finished playing some organizer appeared and said that it was decoded and played on zx... apparently, the point was to show that videoplayback on zx is possible, but why on earth didn't they make some sorta movie explaining this matter and decided to play some joke sketch they downloaded fron the internet?..
This runs on UNEXPANDED MACHINE FROM YEAR 1993, all-Russian chips!
