looks pretty cool.. but unfortunately, it runs with a bad framerate for me.. and it's actually about 500K unzipped, so it might be misleading to think of it as an intro (but I'm personally not a size freak).

wrong category. please learn that an intro is 64kb and not kb more.
shut up rasmus there are different kinds of intro's.

I didn't like the scroller font, but the chiptune was pretty ok.

Ok,. another oldschool small intro. Gfx are cute, nothing special after that. And I find it very slow thinking of the simple effects it's in there (Ok,. I don't know how slow is it to write fullscreen highres in software mode in DirectX, but I beleive a Pentium2 could do it with ease,. and there are no calculations to do there too for each pixel, just simple 2d. Anyways..)

It's rather big and the white text above makes the intro craiwl. However, it's fresh, the colors are nice and the chiptune is happy-joy.

Me likes :-)

Thumbs up, but not because the demo is good. It's a lackluster 'oldskool' intro and doesn't do much, although it might make it as a cracktro or something. Interestingly, the scrolling seems a tad on the slow side (ie. *not* 60 fps), and I'm running at 700 MHz.

So why thumbs up?

Because it features Bubby from Bubble Bobble, and after all these years it's still my favourite arcade game. Crazy, eh?

plek: there are different kinds of 64kb intros? There is a specific category for smaller intros and back in the days bigger intros were called dentros. IN YOUR FACE!
Weren't dentros intros with several parts? Back in the good ole days, every small prod seemed to have a different genre.. dentro, meetro, bbs-tro, anythingtro.. :-)

Last time I saw a dentro-compo, the size was limited to 256kb...

Anyone who checked the production might've noticed we weren't too interested in following the "rules" anyway. :)

Anyway, thanks for the comments and criticism.. Yes, this intro doesn't feature anything special at all. It's too damn slow for such an effectless prod, the music sucks ass and there's no design whatsoever (I just told the gfx guys "you, make a logo! you, make a scrollfont!") .. The demo/intro/whatever we're working on at the moment will be something quite different..
