The term chiptune originated from protracker mods using small looping samples, AFAIK. It was only later abused for other meanings.

@Manwe, There's a good reason why IT compression hasn't been allowed. Otherwise there's little point in even accepting MOD, S3M or XM. Sure, it's the music that counts but IT already has an edge over the others technologically so it becomes like a whole different compo for different formats. Except they're still raced against each other. But this is an opinion and they can and usually do differ.
The factually wrong aspect of the rule is about Boobie Squeezer. It has nothing to do with sample compression, in fact, it has next to no effect on huge files like 64kB. Reading the page linked on the compo website might explain some things.
Anyhoo, although this seems like rant, I don't wish to fight windmills. It's up to the organizers to make the rules and nobody's forcing anybody to participate. I just want the point about BS rectified. It's not sample compression and it gives XM no advantage or handicap in regard to IT, especially with these module sizes.

Simple clean visuals, nice music, overall it perfectly matches the event. Only drawback is lack of widescreen and higher resolution, but well, it's 64k.
