for some reason the music made me think of aphex twin's windowlicker (might need more distortion for that tho :P) anyway, for the rest there are some nice effects in this one as well (the voxelish MC nippleballs is awesome!)

Some fugly parts + the balls aren't 3d they're just rendered on a small 2d texture (that's why they look "pixelish", taking a screenshot will reveal the bilinear filtering) which is deformed on a grid. Also no sight of any voxels in there, i'm afraid.

managed to freeze the entire system. nice fx and music tho
hitchhikr: it is actually a raytraced voxel. It basically traces the corners of a square and decides whether there's anything exciting in the square to bother tracing any further (based on intersection distance to camera). If it's worth it, it subdivides the square and repeats the process ... the bilinear filtering artifacts you are seeing is the colour interpolation across an untextured quad.
You're right about it not being metaballs, though - this is just what it looks like when your camera viewport is a sphere equation and your field of view is over 360 degrees ;)

the design and music were a bit uncoordinated, and the choppy scroller at the end was unreadable, but the effect in the screenshot was at least original.
