Fully customizable, very clean demosystem, poem slides too fast and that's good 'cause it seems depressing, and i *am* quite depressed already on my own...
Music is quite catching, some sort of RobZombie thing...some boring scenes unlinked from the meaning of the poem.
Ok the falling-leaves scene, very suggestive.
There's a Marylin Manson's Poster in the ending scene and a Metallica's one, as well...

It's loading... and loading... and loading... and, well, nothing happens =)

(Áccording to the readme file it should work on a p200,32mb ram, I have a K2-380, 64MB, TNT over here...)

quite good actually, nicely put together with the dusty backgrounds and the colourfull objects. top one with the greetings =)
this is not at all my kind of music, but i must admit its rather catchy...worth the download all the way, good job!

A couple scenes (including the end one) really bug on my system (Win98, Athlon 1.4/512MB, GF2Pro/22.50, DX8).

i like the second-reality rotozoom in the end scene! =) for me too, I don't understand why demos always have to be atmospheric/depressiv/technoid.. probably it's mainstream at the moment
Phoenix, why not install the latest NVidia drivers?

jeez, yet another pure "prepare to die" demo for marylin manson fans... definetly not my cup of tea!

imho the best part is the legendary rotozoomer on the computer screen :)

sagacity: I use 22.50 because it's a bit faster than 23.11 (or whatever the latest is) - it's only a few months old, shouldn't really be the problem.

phoenix: mmh, strange, it should normally work fine on your compu (wrote the code mainly on athlon 900 with 256mb ram and geforce2mx running win98)... what kind of problems do you get?

Quasian's music ROOOLZ.

nice soundtrack.
I liked the idea behind the greet part.
I (usually) dislike scenepoetry, but it didn't
bother that much in this one.

Hooray for Quasian! This demo is overall a very nice experience, well balanced and visually restrained. If the demo could have a taste, this one would taste like a mild and fresh apple.

Not coherent enough, not very good design, too many different fonts (some of them bad), some of the poetry was hard to read. Music was decent and ending lines nice.

The soundtrack alone requires a thumb up already.
The rest of the demo was not too bad, some nice objects and effects.

You can find the text of the last scroller (together with some the other texts from the demo and with some more info) here:

"All the happy people I see around me are either in love or just plain stupid, not thinking."

duh.

ok, all in all, this is slightly better than garden-variety scene poetry... but not that much better either. it's impossible to read all the scrolling lyrics in the end, so why put it there in the first place?

technically, the demo is flawless. soundtrack is not my style, but well done too. i really like the falling leaves.

nice queensryche/dreamtheater-esque music there - combined with the worst scenepoetry EVER.

good music and gfx.. the 3d is very dated of course, but for 2001 it's pretty decent.
