1988...
So nice, 88 !!
I've seen the same effect in another demo, that must be the original. Respect.

CBC
Tasteful.
Nice perspective scroller
one of the best intros ever
That's totally bloody awesome for 1988! Thanks to Mr.Spiv for pointing me to this gem. French quality!
What StingRay said, especially about french quality :))
nvr seen before
wonderful for 88 !
wonderful for 88 !
I need a time machine. Anyone?
most people don't realize what a shocker this was back then
Very nice for 1988. Trivia : I met the coder of this intro while doing my military obligations. As far as I remember he also wrote some sound routines with Fred/Ackerlight.
i was swapper at this time for CBC and I remember this guy coming at my home with his brother. he just tell me i have made an intro do you want to see it ??
i was amazed.
never saw that guy again, at this time he was busy with his study.

looks pretty sweet for 1988
Not so much in fact.
Looks quite nice !
Rocks!
very nice!
Hi Vincent: these guyz were Frédéric and Jean-Michel A. (name hidden on purpose). Great group!
great you remember my name :-) who the hell are you :-)
ok
Great for 1988, obviously. Sweet scroller.
Yep. I would have watched that for ages in '88 wondering how they did it.
I also would have just been totally jealous of whoever owned the Amiga :-)
Dunno if there's anything else so extraordinary for 1988 except that the scroller, with shadow too, is indeed nice. And of course Uncle Tom's (Titan at that time) "The Song" always rules.
Cool scroll
It is still a nice scroll effect after all the years. Looking at the code was
quite revealing and I really do like the way how the coder, a certain
Freddy as I could read, translated the effect into action. A stroke of
genius! 1988? Unbelievable! Who was that Freddy, what else did he
code, where did he come from (C64?) and where did he go?

Is that a joke ?
Absolut inte!
It's not a joke and I am not on drugs either. Maybe I am a bit insane
from time to time...ah, wait...it's time for my pink pills...ahhh, that feels
better.
No, joking apart. Firstly, you have to consider the time when the
production was released. And secondly, I simply like Freddy's
handwriting, that is his(!) realisation of the effect. It reveals a certain
cleverness and deeper understanding. Or in other words: Freddy was a
bright spark.
But maybe I am just too oldschool (and insane (where are my pink
pills?!)) to give a differentiated opinion.

Toppen! Thanks a lot for the links. Awesome and very creative what
this French guy already did in 1988/89.
Cheers
