Great 8-channel modfile by Tommy (composed, as I understood, on two amigas linked together).
mugwumps were ciritisized for their code, or rather, lack of it. but the result is really good. the intro screen is an amusing warming-up, the rest is frantic techno stuff.
i'd say the main techno part isn't as good as for instance grotesque, but the music makes up for it!
the end part is chill! sometimes i booted this demo only to watch that part with it's great music and trippy looped animation :)

yes, end part is really great chill... whole demo have very nice "story line" - from start to end.
Nostalgic memory bit: I actually bought this demo from the Independent booth at the ProTOS fair back then, as I had no other sources for demos and it was one of the few that ran on VGA, which was the only monitor I had back then. I watched it again and again...
About the demo: The dancing moves look a bit silly and way too looped but all the other effects are very trippin. And I second earxs opinion about the endpart. The tune hologod is still in my playlist.:) The tune by Tommy is great as well. Definitive thumbs up!

Whatever happened to the Mugwumps? One story has a load of leftover stuff which never made it into this demo, going into another one? Another mystery?

no idea if anyone remembers, but we were the bunch of idiots who were shouting "colourcycling!" at nearly every effect in the fried bits compo. it may have had something to do with sitting like 10m away from mugwumps, and the ridiculously cheap becks... ;-)
the demo is surely not a technical masterpiece, but the execution compensates everything imho :-)
