Puterman has reviewed my 256 bytes Chesszoomer, 4kb Chesswaver and Glance's Living demo (which I'm also involved). I didn't like the reviews because I think he didn't even read the readme.txt files of this releases. First of all, he says he didn't understand doing a chesszoomer in 256 bytes is hard or not. So why do you TRY to review it? :) And he says I could do more effects in 4kb like Krill does (I can hehe). And I say "Puterman, please read readme.txt first". And finally about Living/Glance, it's not that positive but an acceptable review. Generally I didn't like your reviews about me, so no thumb up (personally) :) But I liked the simple design of this little review thing :)

and the review of hello:FRIEND was a bit short and could have been more positive, so i guess i shouldnt thumb it up either, erhm...but i do anyway, since nsr remains a magazine which i read all the way through and do fully enjoy. and the worst thing is that i'm hardly annoyed by the font anymore

solid NSR quality again. sitting with pizza and beer and reading c64 reviews - what a nice nice ending of a day! =)

but i'm a bit sad that you didn't follow my humble request about writing a few lines about mortimer's old musicdisk.

skate please ignore that lamer megadelux a.k.a stefan, he's only eager to start senseless fights.

The words "nice", "boring" and "ugly" should be forbidden in demo reviews and replaced with "neato", "hella crap" and "fugly shitacularism". Also, the music was rather annoying this time around.

Skate: We try to review everything, which includes stuff we don't understand, like or can relate to in any way. README files? Text files and other crap gets routinely deleted when I download C-64 stuff. If you feel the need to make excuses about stuff in your demos, include a note.

i find the simplicity of the interface quite appealing.

@puterman: You still didn't read readme.txt files, did you? :) Whatever, forget it...

@dipswitch: I've already ignored, don't worry :)

Feels really weird to read diskmags by editors who can actually write...
And even if I sometimes disagree with some of the reviews that doesn't mean they're wrong, stupid or lack entertainment value.
After reading all three issues I definitely have a new favourite mag! (which really doesn't say that much, as most mags nowadays are poo-filled cesspools of editor-slagging..)

Here's my late thumb up for this enjoyable issue.

Good issue. Perhaps kinda difficult to be read on the old CRT monitor.
