really cool, i like the rendering techniques :)
rulez added on the 2005-08-28 14:38:22 by Gargaj
Very enjoyable, except for the music. It's good to see people doing something other on intros than "look how much flyby we can fit into 64kb".
looks original but why its so slowly?
reminds me of all that stuff i used to play / watch / whatever on my 386 with an EGA monitor. :) definately a thumb-up, great fx.
uninspired scenes using bitpatterns as textures.
I agree with hellfire.
Plus, I literally have a headache now!

great! ... except the music that doesn't make it to me u__u
Very nice prod! Cube ownz.
I'm not a fan of the music tho, sry.

Rastermatrices!
nice
nice rendering techniques but very average other than that
I like
Nice, an introduction to image processing ;)
Good work, thumb up!

different and cool. the music was absolute garbage though.
well
average with few good ideas

imho the worst crap that ever won a compo (beats several smash design demos on that chart!). 100% uninspired, crappy rendering, code even i could pull off in an afternoon, crap tune, etc.
people, this is *not* impressive rendering. this is lame uninspired look mommy i can type rand() rendering.

thumb up for the idea and the music
Sort of nice, though I admit, I think that the raster-concept could've been exploited much better.
yeah, i also think it's a good concept but the execution is rather unimpressive.
nice
wow, a rasterization paper visualization...</ironicmode>
very nice music and visual ideas, unfortunately got ruined a bit with the dull paper scrolling.
i liked it despite of the fact it's not a 64kb i would usually think of.. oh and i found the music quite nice, too.
Whatever you say, IMHO it's fresh!
enjoyable.
nice. hardline could have bringed excellence
hmm. i like the show really!
great demo, was a pleasure to see it.
Nice ride.
The first prod in my todays watch that I really enjoy. Oh boy that dithering techniques, some of them reminds me speccy demos, and also in any demo when there are also those scientific schemes scrolling while you watch the effect they make me hot, and it's done very well, really enjoyball and made me laugh while watching the renderings!!!
so, a few points:
- the music is in one word horrible, i have nothing against any way of getting sound out of the speakers but this is just bland
- 3state did it first
- bores after a while, but this is partially fault of the music and the resulting synch
its a nice attempt but it looks like a learning experience that should not be rewarded with a 1st ranking.

Very original graphics
very slow and bad music
Kaki? wtf. Very nice!
Good sync, nice overall design, I really love the music - it went into my brain and I can't get out of it since I saw the intro at the partyplace.
Ok, it's not going to be one of my all-time favourite intros, but it's something different and worth watching.
savage!
OK. Not a thrill but not boring either. A bit jerky framerate here. Music was so-so.
Cool design.
Wow. Now, that was cool! I also like the description for each scene. Very nice!
the texts and the music make it hard for me to like this one.
the headache caused by the initial plasma scene and the smashdesigny typewriter part avoid getting any erection.. to my thumb
neat idea.
Great stuff! Great music too. Keep it up!
Rasteriiiiiiiiiiing
overall idea was cool!
music was not so cool.
worthwhile for sure.

some very cool sequens there! (overall ok, but the typer was friggin' excellent)
18 fps floyd-steinberg ? why do it then ?
no technical breakthrough, looks just very ugly, rather bad music. sorry.

I enjoyed this, the idea was good and it was put together quite nicely, ran fast enough and no annoying precalc bar which makes a change for a 64k these days.
i don't like but thumb up for the work
nice style.
I liked visual.
however, music was not so good.

I like it! Greetings to the Kakiarts #evoke posse at Evoke'05 ;) (Biff, Gabi and so on)
Really deserves a thumb up. I like it very much. However, the code is a bit too slow.
niedlig
I'd prefer raster instead of ugly gradient so called "coder colors"...so thumb up for the typewriter at the end and 49696 bytes
Design is nice.
piggyish
bueno!!!
black/white-ish revalation
Put me into print!

Really really good!
I liked the music (in places), the scene with the typewriter, and the overall design.
:(
Like this one.
original. worthy winner.
Like the music (though it's repitive), everything starting from the typewriter is meh - i favour the idea, but it feels like it's glued together
this rulez !
do that again please, this time with colors !

Cool, though the music annoyed me in the end. Btw my favorite error-diffusion dither pattern is Sierra lite:
|------|pixel|0.5|
|0.25|0.25|-----|
Fast and gives good results.
