At Mekka&Symposium 2000 some people complained about all that PC demos looking like virtual sightseeing walks. So I planned to do an ASCII city for a demo. I never finnished it, but while working on it I needed some action. So I took a that police car and animated it, optimized the code and somewhen at around 500 byte I finally started to shrink it down to 256 Bytes.
Btw, the car keeps all the time on the same position, only the space around it moves (like with the space ship in Futurama).
The result was it came 9/10 (Hey, not the last place!) and got some laugher at the presentation.
Later mados fixed it but during an HDD-crash it was lost. :(
