Note this demo runs on Game Boy Advance emulator ! and pouet.net dont let me put another platform field :(

Note this demo comes from this web site http://leonard.oxg.free.fr/
and dont come from any party, but the submit system of pouet.net dont show 'none' in the party field :(

some words about this demo : i like it !!!
a big 3d tunnel and scene in non-textured mode, a quite slow but it's rocks
well done Leonard !!! continue demos on alternative platforms !!!
i've just tryed it on a REAL gameboy advance, and unfortunately it doesn't work ..;( will try it on the emulator ...

I like it. I think the author mentioned somewhere that the 3D calculations are not done on the GBA, and were rather done beforehand and saved into the data, but the result's nice anyway :)
rulez added on the 2001-08-11 10:45:35 by bigcheese bigcheese
I didn't get the 1st release to work on actual hardware, I hope the new release is better (testing when I get home from school).
But anyway it is a cool demo, it looks good and it's fast.

Is it true that the 3d calc was prerendered? :(

Really nice, i tried it on my
gba and it works just fine,
flash util whines over incorrect size, apart from that it runs like the kebab!
Keep up the good work.

Oui. J'ai practiser le Français, mais je suis trés mal. Je suis Anglais.

Le demo, c'est pas mal. J'aime ca. J'aime aussi le GBA, heh. Pas que ce, a mon avis c'est 'rulez'.

(bleh. What *is* the French for demo? Or any of the other words in my pseudo-French?)
rulez added on the 2001-11-22 22:55:41 by golrien golrien
demo is french is demo... thats what I say anyway... demo stand for demonstration and its a valid french word too.
rulez added on the 2001-11-28 21:40:19 by [rem0te] [rem0te]
since when was demo an official english word anyway?

That is pretty damn sweet! I love flat colour polygons. So who's going to do a Second Reality port?

When you think about the speed and size of the platform, it's a bit 'lame' that the thing is a polystream. But many great demos were (eden/bomb?). What counts is the impact it makes. Even tho it's one of the first techdemos out on the platform, it still packs quite a punch. Two thumbs up!

Eh :)
rulez added on the 2002-02-21 13:19:17 by Gargaj Gargaj
This is possible, since GBA is more powerful than Super Famicom/Nintendo.

AWESOME 'Star Fox' clone :)

Damn, some people use tricks in demos??? What a disillusion!

Who cares if it's fake or not, as long as it looks good and has a reasonable size.
Nice work Leonard.

Leonard/Oxygene really gave ** a lot ** to the (whole) scene through the years.

I really enjoy the fact they bring Atari ST spirit to "underground" platforms the best possible way.
