Chip music is always good (well atleast quite often). Some really good songs / some not so good songs.
Big thumb for MacGywer theme, everybody loves MacGywer ;)

thumb up because it's good to make packs of scenemusic in a little packsize (1Mb) and because the respect of the audience with a no-selfvoting attitude :)

some improvements :
- it will be good if at the end of a music, it plays automatically the next one
- it will be good if you can add a volume button to cut the sound quickly when my boss enter in my office room :]
- it will be better for the background to improve the texts, because they are hard to read
- it will be better if you can add a progress bar to listen only the end of a music

so, a good music pack wich will be better next time :)

Nice interface gargaj! Indeed an auto-next function and minimize button would be nice though :-)

The chips are quite nice overall and yes it's small! :-)

I dig the interface, but it should have a time indicator. And yes, it really should switch the song automatically. Tunes are ok.

about the interface:
- loop/continue: vincenzo asked me to loop the tunes, sorry :)
- volume button: get a pair of active speakers :) anyway there is a pause button
- minimize: just alt-tab it :)

gah. some of the tunes were already released in this: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=5858
MacGyvers first name starts with an A and ends with ngus...

I also noticed that atleast some of the tunes weren't really new and have been released before in different prods. But it doesn't really bother me...

Anyway, it's a pretty nice collection and the interface is sweet too.

I love this interface ;)

cD_: some of the tunes? you must be joking! there is only one tune in it which i've used there... and only by an incident, i forgot i used it in dawning zikdisk... another tunes were of course used in other productions, everything is written in info.txt... i'm sorry, anyway :/

btw. somebody should correct that terrible mistake with macgyver :)))

well .. strange picture. I know quite a lot of those tunes already (big chipcompo, dawning disk..) for the music I give a clear "thumbs up" for nula and an "ok" for padre vincenzo.

He, he. Quite cool. Most of the points have been made, but I have a couple too. :]

* Well, I can see the reasons for wanting it to loop a tune and run through them, so why not have an option to either have it loop a tune or run through them? :)

* Also... the pause... have you even tried it dude. :] Pause a tune and then press play, then repeat that a few times. You'll start to notice what I mean real quickly. :D

Well, a few to many issues to give a thumbs up, but I'm sure the next one will get one from me. :)

nula, all forgiven. this is a good collection anyhow.
About the pause button...
OOPS!
:)

It worked when i hacked it together, but later I changed part of the code and forgot to check it :)

I'm fond of both nula and padre vincenzo, so this disc was a pleasant surprise.
Didn't like the interface, but it doesn't matter too much as the quality of the songs are way above average. Especially nula makes my ears pay closely attention.
Here you go.. a thumbs up for you.
Well deserved! :)

Good music, but the interface should really get some additional work, it's not to late. :)

* add a functionality for loop song / loop disk / loop song x times and go on with the next
* are the titles jpg-compressed? png is our friend. :)
* I'd like to have an option to set it topmost
* nice icon, but the taskmanager doesn't shows it :(
* a volume controll which doesn't change the global volume would be good

MadenMann: thanks for reporting nearly two years after the release :D
the pictures are in fact uncompressed (or well, UPX) but i got them in JPG so ... :/
the rest was done much better in Emerald Box (i think this was my first musicdisk gui i ever coded, lots of bugs :S )
added on the 2004-09-12 09:38:14 by Gargaj Gargaj
It's never too late to fix. :)
Example: Scoopex'n'Chips 3 will be rereleased in some weeks. At least, I hope that. The last info I have is "98% ready". :)
Link doesn't work anymore.
