one of my absolute highlights of the party. a really cool prod with interesting technique and attention to detail.

Wow, I love it! Sweet transitions all over the place and a banger soundtrack! And thanks for the greets! <3
I simply love this.
One of the many Razor knock-offs we’ll be seeing in the near future.
Not quite sure what to think about it yet.

@hfr: afaik, the demo was started two years ago, long before the preparations for the razor demo were known. so, this is simply a case of "great minds think alike"...
Happy to have attended Evoke and got to see this prod live!
Story combined with good looking ascii-based visuals. The slow start combined with Zabus awesome music was a really powerful build up. One of my favorite aspects.

storyboarded demos with a specific non everyday style to it . Love it !
brings it back, i think the c64 arrived shortly after release , the old man got it but didnt know what to do with it so the kid started reading those manuals ... alas in salems lot computers will get you nowhere in the future.
Later i was allowed to buy a second hand ST, and another one after it broke, as a young boy. I only knew one guy here who had an Amiga. There was no internet until i was 25 or so but those friday evening swapping parties sure were hella fun.
superprod (in the eyes of the beholders here that is ofcourse)
if razor-knockoff means youre using text glyphs dont listen to the hate, everythings a knockoff of pong anyway. real demo with a real story , not procedural noise , love it !!!

yes
We all remember.
An alternative style demo, pretty good.
I'm sure you have some memories with your old computers and all, but this just comes across as kinda cheaply playing on nostalgia to me. It's not bad or anything, but not particularly interesting to me.
As for calling it a Razor knock-off, this isn't the first work in this style by this group. So I don't think that's fair criticism.

i liked the soundtrack but the scenes were stretched too long which made it rather boring
I actually don't get why this one did not win the first place. Well I'm probably too dumb to understand the complexity abd the technical achievement behind the first one but this one actually talked to me. I loved the visuel , i loved that there is 'kind of' a story..and i loved the music! Awesome work !
is fakescii, but a good one!
Hit a pretty painful cheesy/cringe/uncanny valley fiber of mine.
It's not a bad prod objectively, I can tell that a lot of effort and soul have been put into this, and I respect that. But I can't give more than a piggy subjectively.

21 MB of Petscii... Size coding, but, in reverse :)
Anyway ... you had me with the soundtrack -> Thump up.

a bit too long but original & well done, i liked!
is not bad, would be a funny point n click adventure
Great music! and enjoyed the rest as well
Art.
I can see clearly a ton of passion and raw effort went into this. :)
Loved it.
