similarly to coiled i kept seeing faces and hand-like shapes throughout the demo, was a really cool experience.. very much deserved 1st place

Exceptional, love the energy of it
Ultimate compo, ever.
You can now safely shutdown your demoscene.

Yes! People will say it's too long, they are wrong.
I was immersed in one of the effects for a whole 10 seconds or something… definitely improvement visible! other than that, laggy, music intensity did not match visual intensity whatsoever - also: too long, and no, I'm not wrong @okkie
piggie all-in-all because of the one kick-ass scene with immersion

Lol, someone jealous (NR4).
IMHO this the intro that is hard to ignore and marks a new artistic direction in the demoscene.
The visuals are completely aligned with audio in a very non-trivial way (unlike usual "to the beat" formula). Perfect tension & release cycles. Perfect balance of shape complexity and noise. Absolute best wrighter prod to date.
Anyone who doesn't understand it is an unevolved ape (paraphrasing Karlheinz Stockhausen).

Did not like this at all, very much hated it in fact. Interesting concept for a minute, then (what I felt) were just random noise and visuals. I felt physical ill during the last minutes hoping for it to end, considering to leave the party place. The next day I compared it to being forgotten during an MRI scan in a hospital, and another person agreed this was a valid evaluation. So congratulations for winning 1st place, polarizing people and enganging them in discussions about your production. That is a win in and of itself. And this is what it lifts it from a down-thump to a piggie for me.
Great effect and even better pacing and composition, that ensures that it never got boring. Could have gone on forever imho and would be a very strong piece at an art show. And the icing on the cake is that it ranked 1st.
yeah I am team 'don't like it that much'... sound is technically sound for 4K standards but there's no direction/evolution and it just meanders and meanders on without direction, resolve or something that spikes interest. like a broken screensaver :P
i like how this style evolves over the course of recent intros, but somehow i fail to see (or hear and feel) it the way apparently many others do ¯_(ツ)_/¯
could be running in a loop at any modern art exhibition.
dope.
I liked the part with the black graphite sticks on white canvas (and was that a polar bear @0:27 ?) ah, well done, very pretty!
sweet
interesting
another piece of wonderfull art from you...so good...I feel heartbeats and mood swings in any kind of direction while watching...I guess everybody who likes this will resonate in a different way...which is an achievement that hardly any demoscene product can do in this size and abstract form...chapeau!
i usually like noise demos, and I surely love the visuals in this one too, but the sound is just unbearable for me. like others said, there are seem to be some frequencies in it that make me physically unwell.
unevolved apes and similar aside id say if you dont feel the sync you would probably go to a jazz concert and go home wondering where the unn-tiss was ;p
gets me more like peurs du noir meets edgar froese - i wonder if not seeing any reproductive organs in the rohrschach test means im dinally getting old.
out of the beaten box track in perfect sync. i really liked this milkdrop simulator. Theres room for art on this here self-proclaimed scene is it not ?
Its not even too avantgarde, quite harmonious
ofcourse we are madmen but i came to the conclusion normal people are way worse, i mean
look what they did to the place

Some interesting patterns but annoying sound that makes it really difficult to stay for 7 minutes.
Dark and depressive alive and artsy indeed!
Rocked my socks off!
I'm blown away by the huge, seamlessly expressive space of this intro!

Very rorschach test nice

i'm glad wrigther still making extended versions not radio friendly bullshit. respect.
