I don't know how it's possible but the playback speed of this gets faster when laptop is connected. Samples don't play any faster. Also the UI is super blurry. Good music but the player feels like AI slop
@hot multimedia, I kept the resolution intentionally at 320 x 200 as for me this is meant as an homage to Atari ST mod trackers.. Agreed the music is very good, and that is surely because it is from a true digital music artist, sorry that overall for you this is a poor experience and feels like AI slop...
@hot multimedia,
Thanks, that is a useful catch. The current replay routine uses browser-side timer ticks to advance the MOD pattern timing. That means playback tempo can be affected by laptop power management, browser energy-saving behavior, or CPU throttling, especially on battery.
So yes, I can see how plugging the laptop in could make the tune appear to speed up: the browser may stop delaying JavaScript timers, and the player then advances closer to the intended ProTracker tick rate.
This is not expected MOD behavior, it is a timing weakness in the web replay implementation.

It's a nice collection of tunes but what makes it a "demo" and why is it called "tracker"?
