I like the bouncing balls on the first screen but the effects are quite plain (the fact that the demo appears to be made in BASIC might have to do something to do with that!). Great music though!
It's a hybrid of basic-kun (jit compiled), inline asm and the asm arkostracker player for the music. It was a 7 day prod, just in time for compo deadline :P
