Really underrated in the compo. The complete Ghidra project of the reverse-engineered original is an extremely cool bonus.
The wild compo was truly wild, and this prod was one of the reasons! I don't even remember any other party where wild entries were more memorable than "real" ones.
This should have ranked much higher. Some seriuosly cool stuff there.

The presentation was not good enough / unsuitable. The audience doesn't really care about CPU cycles and working stages (one could blog this later), they want to be entertained and impressed. You cannot go to an audiovisual art event and expect to win a Blumentopf without adding at least some cool effects (might be the reason why the entry is not included in the Revision Captures compo playlist, it just doesn't fit the format).
It was my first demo party and I was very short on time (with some hours more it would have been easy to add some horizontal effects and to introduce the ball with a sprite animation). However, Revision was a great event and I met interesting people and saw a lot of artworks live on the bigscreen :-)
NTSC version is now available at releases/tag/v0.4.1 (prod links do not need to be updated).

Last fixes have been done at the party, so there was no time for a proper documentation of the code. One day I will do some cleanup, write something about how and why it works, and merge it with the main branch in github.
