I'm giving it a piggy which is quite generous, because the music and gfx are quite poor, and they've chosen a deliberately lo-res for the latter. I can't tell if they're working to AMOS limits or not, but other demos from the same group have a similar look to them.

Looks like a chunky mode implementation on the Cooper coprocessor.
I like it a lot.
As for how the demo is done in terms of design, I think it's such a testing ground.
