Should be watched on STe as it's heavily enhanced.
Some very impressive code, but less impressive presentation and originality.

I second that, some good effects (I like the starfields) but a poor overall design...

Passagen.se seems to dislike external linking. Copy/paste the download url in the address field, or go to Newcore website...

lol, could we be any more cliche for 1994?

Nude woman, non-intel-inside playing, etc... etc...

Crazy fun :)

The music of the first part rocks...also the fractal 3d dots are very cool and unique.

Plays 8 channel mod on STE in the endpart.

A bit boring at times but the code rocks. Great zoomer and totally nice starfield. The burning linevectors are pretty nice as well.

Never thumbed up this? Great stuff, and biggest number of hidden screens I know of in a dentro :)

Yeah, the zooming writer is smooth and great and the other code is great too.

one of the best STE demos around - i like the overscan-text-zooming

But for 1994 year ... the GFX is still like cartoon from 80th ...
Where are scans even with diftering to 16 colors ?
What about SPECTRUM512 picture with woman ? Yes - I know in background module player works, but for 1-2 seconds could be played looped sample.

Never mind - very nice the demo recognizes and uses STE feature - 1994 year.

Some technical info, the mod replayer for the main part is in 12.5 kHz four channels... but no software volume control. Instead I'm using the microwire to set the volume of the right/left channel. Which means the two channels on left/right channel share the same volume, and I change the volume on basically every tracker row. I mainly did it for fun as a creative challenge when composing the music.

Oh, and the software sound mixer is fast also, it consumes less than 11% cpu-time on average, meaning I have more Motorola 68k cycles left per vbl than an Amiga after doing the software sound mixing. :)

The mod replayer also fits in the upper overscan, so in the fullscreen dual zoomer at the beginning, not much adaptation was made to fit the sound player into the code (code when opening the horisontal borders needs to be cycle accurate, so fitting the soundplayer would have taken some coding time. It's not hard work, but time consuming).

Other than that, the demo itself was a last effort to finally release at least something that looked like a real demo, so I put together whatever was laying around on disks in a weekend. Much of the design is by me... sorry about that. We did have proper graphics people in the crew, and I did included some of their work, but the demo would have looked prettier if I had let them do more of the design work, but it would also have taken more time... and then we might have had another project not going anywhere.
