une bonne vieille démo avec un musique qui bouge bien et un code sympa !

la bonne époque des Rebels sur le Miga ? :-)
took me years to understand how it is done. still can't figure out the writer. a hell of a copperlist. one of the best amiga codes ever. the ultimate parallax bar demo. looks so simple. but it's 640x256 on an A500 with 512 KByte.

The first time I saw this I didnt even understand what demoscene was all about but I really adored the result. Cannot really judge the technical accomplishment but I'll trust Chaos with this one :) The tune is one of my favourites to this day.

I'm no expert in amiga coding either, but damn those parallax effects looked insane. Truly memorable work.

I´ve been searching for this one a looong time...!!!
but now i know why it took that long...i had "Triple Trash Threat" in mind when searching for it all the Time.! ...guess i had the wrong prod-name saved to my brain all the Time.!
if you liked that one, there´s another beauty out there...Angels - Coppermaster.!!! ;)
... i tried to get how it worxx for several years...then i coded a total-different-routine and *dang* ...there it was...thats the same Routine they must´ve used in TTT....i found out myself, just 4-5 years too late.!! lol.!
But this is still one of the best Copper-Demos ever.!! :))

I once had this on a disk together with an intro (some sine-scroller, don't remember the group) and the first issue of a new dutch diskmag called something like "Beschuit & Muschjies". I tried to find that mag on the internet for years, but didn't succeed. Does someone of you here know which diskmag I mean and where to get it?

A brilliant demo that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. From the age when good ideas were more important than filled vectors.

One has to recognize what an achievement all of this is:
The "boring" Kefratraz in here (the color-cycling backgrounds) must be calculated at runtime (85kb, including all the graphics and splendid music!), while another part is plotting its Text above showing another permutation of the z-ordered-blitter/copper-fuckery, not seen before in the demo! ...everyone else would have said: "WOW, look at this one...it´s twoInOne!" in another TextScreen! (talking of the everyOtherLineIsMinusOneInTheTable, looking like twoScreensInOne)
Way ahead of em all! ;) Even Chaos and me needed several years to get how he did all of that! ;) In the end it´s the same as some Wobbler, TextureLookUpPerLine, just way better performed and abused! ;)
Danish quality from when demos was exciting :)

Before twisters, before slimy cubes and most "car game roads" effects, there was this fresh experiment by Rebels, which draws its power from an entrancing soundtrack coupled with focusing on variants of the effect. There is also a precursor of chunky here, likely inspired by the hand scanners and matrix printers of the day. At least I was, and wrote multipass printer routines to render grayscale onto 'canvas'. :)
