Who stole the Stamnes from the Stamnes jar? -
new demoscene platform http://bus-tops.com/create/ -
already mentioned http://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=8603 -
:) -
gloom, i will be there too. i have a beard and will wear shoes -
lock up your bikes and hide your crisps! -
What *could* be nice would be to show the size with the prodname in all compos as a rule. -
executable or whole package? -
whole package (ie prod) - 2012-02-21
-
revision should have 256b compo or something. its a very explorable size for many oldschool platforms -
baah: so if the beamslide in the 4k compo says "package size 2.5MB"...? -
gargaj: i think he is thinking of multifile demos, not intros =) aka "all the files needed to run the prod" -
"all the files needed" or "all the files in the package"? scanline by rustbloom is a great example where the demo is essentially in the package twice (mac/windows) -
shut the hell up gargaj -
hey, if you want to bolt on an misleading arbitrary metric that does little to contribute to the merit of a prod BEFORE, by all means continue. -
Just add an overlay saying 1.44MB BITCH -
Double density! -
in music, a demo is unfinished work in progress. ( o Y o ) -
boobage -
"Movies or animations are like demos, but the effects are calculated in imaginary time!" -
filesize is irrelevant. if it's a demo compo it's irrelevant, if it's a 4k compo it's irrelevant, and if it's a 64k compo it's irrelevant. -
what about mixed compos? -
why would it be relevant? It's not the 90's anymore... -
why isn't it enough to say "this is a 4k intro", "this is a demo" and such? if it's mixed, it's usually because it's combined due to lack of entries. same for platforms. -
filesize matters ;p
