no, they waste too much time in thinking and flaming. - skrebbel: they by default apply billinear filtering over upscaled pictures, which, in case of our beloveth pixelled 16x16 avatars make it look like swipes after you wiped you bum..

I perfer the way opera does it, it just filters pictures that are downscaled. -
So... how does opera upscale pictures?! -

I think it doesn't resample things more than 4x their size or something odd like that.
