4k is definitivly not enough to make good demo , 8k will be perfect but still dont exists -
STFU 4k is enough for everyone -

link me retarded -
about that densa page: don't have it display your results, or you'll have to close your browser in order to escape this (possibly) endless loop. apart from that, it seems to be safe (and fun) -
LemonParty: code asm and the force is with you -
since i'm start programming i make almost everykind of demo effects but i'm still wondering how twisters (http://www.256b.com/demo/282) are done :/ -
it was not came's. he borrowed mine. -
lemonparty: it's made by having a mesh with vertices for all horizontal coordinates, then rotating and 3d-projecting only the x-coordinate and drawing horizontal textured lines between the projected points. -
precalculating everything helps a lot with this kind of fx :) -
you don't need to precalculate it on the PC at least.. and doing dynamic meshes is easy and fun. -
Well, no platform was specified, and mine's valid for all ;) -
precalculating lots of floats would be pointless and make it ugly since you'd need to limit the amount of deformations you can do ;) -
sound more complicated than expected... -
here's a tutorial: http://www.flipcode.com/articles/demomaking_issue12.shtml -
