POKEY > (SID+AY+Paula) - AFAIK POKEY only has a range of 0-255 for regular tones, whereas SID has 0-65535! How did that come about?
- SID also has a 12-bit DAC. The perks of being born in the early 1980s!
- SID & Paula work nicely together, hand in hand
- Who cares about range? POKEY sounds like a metal band while SID sounds like a squished midget.
- Metal bands are out of tune? I didn't know that!
