after ~3 years, i finally noticed a flaw in calling every mixcraft project 'test' followed by some random numbers -
I know, right? Not enough digits in the random number? Same here! -
at some point i also started randoming the test into te* followed by random chars and numbers... still, not very helpful if you want ONE particular file -
to be honest, i actually get lost all the time and then try to narrow it down by approximate creation date :-D -
yes, that is how i normally organise shit... it's like piles of papers on your desk and when the pile gets too much you move them all to a folder called 'asfas424352345' or smth and start with a 'clean desk' -
hahaha :-D yeah these folders "to organize later". that later, which never comes. -
sort me folder - it's getting quite big... -
Backup folder which contains the previous backup folder, which contains ... -
Then burn those backup folders into a DVD and throw it inside a real folder in your drawer. -
DVD readers are getting increasingly scarce on modern computers though. Can the backup be read back in the future when it's needed? -
New folder (42) -
To fold or not to fold, that´s the question. -
use blu-ray! -
cannon folder -
Eye of the befolder -
fold my beer and watch this -
Fo(u)lder dash. -
Getting folder by the minute -
The Fold and the Beautiful -
computer shops have so many external (USB) dvd drives, they even sell them! -
fix me beautifolder -
Befold, a pale horse! -
nagz: yes there's even USB 3.5" floppy drives but do you foresee them being available in the future as well? -
https://music.ishkur.com/ <-- demoscene (tracker) music is history, too. -
ElTopo: I mean, I can buy SD card readers for pretty much any computer ever produced inbetween '80 and '89... When there's a will there's a way. Whether optical DISKS will last that long - different question.
